Add-on Deal
Shopee
Attach a discounted second item to a proven product so the basket grows without discounting the main product.
An Add-on Deal offers buyers a discounted extra item when they buy a product they were already going to buy. The main product keeps its price and its margin; only the add-on is discounted, and only when the deal's conditions are met.
It sits in the Explore category, alongside Bundle Deal.
The two shapes an add-on deal takes
| Mode | What it offers | Generated from |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-buy | A discount on further units of the same product | A product already showing repeat-unit demand |
| Pair | A different product attached to the main one at a set add-on price | Products buyers already purchase together |
How to review an add-on deal
- Read the target — the card names the main product and, for a pair, the add-on beside it.
- Check the demand evidence — units sold, order count, and average quantity per order against the target quantity the deal needs to clear.
- Read the deal terms — the discount or add-on price, any minimum spend, the purchase limit (
Unlimitedwhen there is none), and the schedule. - Check the economics — estimated profit, original profit per order, per-item profit, and the original vs post-add-on buyer price.
- Open the financial breakdown if you want the per-product cost structure behind those figures; it opens for reference and changes nothing.
- Deploy to create the deal on Shopee.
Why the engine proposes an add-on deal
- It grows order value without a price cut. The main product's price and margin are untouched — the offer only applies once the deal's conditions are met.
- It follows measured behaviour. Pairs come from products buyers already buy together; multi-buy comes from products that already show repeat-unit demand.
- It is priced against the product's own economics, so every qualifying order stays profitable.
After it goes live
A deployed add-on deal reports how this deal performed: the number of orders that carried the promotion, and the incremental add-on units credited to it. Those figures appear once the deal has been live long enough to be stamped by the status sweep.
An add-on deal can be stopped or rolled back from the deployed rail.
