Price increase whitelist
Shopee
Shopee has to whitelist a product before its list price can rise, so Price Edit hands you the list to submit and holds those products until you confirm the approval.
Raising a product's list price needs Shopee's approval first. Price Edit splits the Deploy step in two: changes that only trim a discount go live straight away, while every product whose list price rises waits under Needs whitelist until Shopee has whitelisted it. There is no API for this — the request is submitted by hand and approval takes a few days.
How to use it
- Open the draft's Deploy step. Needs whitelist lists every product whose list price goes up.
- Download the list — an
.xlsxcarrying each product's SKU, current list price, new list price and new selling price. - Request the increase in Shopee Seller Center, attaching that list. Submit it through the channel your shop already uses to reach Shopee — Seller Center support or your account manager. Shopee expects a letter of intent with the file — see Requesting whitelist approval for what to write, with an example letter.
- Wait for Shopee's approval. The draft keeps the list, so you can come back days later, on any machine.
- Once approved, tick Shopee has approved these price increases and confirm. Those products move into Ready to deploy.
- Deploy them like any other change — scheduled and masked timing work the same.
Why this matters
- Only a rising list price needs approval. Trimming a discount raises the buyer's price without touching the list price, which is why most changes deploy the same day.
- Splitting the two means the trims are not held hostage to a multi-day approval.
The tick box is your confirmation, not a check against Shopee. Untick it if you were early — those products go straight back to Needs whitelist.
