Price tiers
A price tier is one rung on the discount ladder your shop sells at — an everyday price, a campaign price, a flash price. You define the ladder once in Tier Settings, and the Price Tiers table computes what every variant's price, margin and profit would be at each rung.
Both pages sit under Products → Pricing, and both run on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
How to set up your price tiers
- Open Products → Pricing → Tier Settings.
- Add or rename the tiers your shop actually sells at. Tier 1 is your selling price; each deeper tier discounts from it.
- Give each tier a discount mode and a value.
- Save. The Price Tiers table recomputes against the latest costs and prices.
- Switch to Price Tiers to read what the ladder earns on each variant.
The built-in default is three tiers — Everyday at no discount, Mega at 2.5% off and Flash at 5% off — which you can rename, re-value or replace entirely. A scheme holds at most 10 tiers.
The four discount modes
| Mode | What the tier does |
|---|---|
| No discount | Keeps the selling price. |
| % off | Takes a percentage off the selling price. |
| Amount off | Subtracts a fixed amount from the selling price. |
| Set price | Pins the tier to an exact price. |
Deeper tiers cannot price higher than shallower ones. Order your discounts smallest-first, or the save is rejected with that reason.
Which scheme applies to a product
Four levels, most specific first. The first one that exists for a row wins.
- Variant override — set by editing one tier price directly in that row's cell.
- Product override — set from the row's Override action; applies to every variant of that product.
- Shop-wide scheme — what Tier Settings edits.
- Built-in default — used until a shop-wide scheme is saved.
A row governed by an override is badged Custom scheme, and Reset to default puts it back on the shop-wide scheme.
Reading the Price Tiers table
Each row is a variant, not a product — a product with four variants contributes four rows, and the footer count says so. Beside the product, SKU, original listing price and COGS, each tier shows its computed price with the margin and profit it earns, and Shopee rows additionally carry margin and profit after commission.
Every tier carries a status, and the row carries the worst of them:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| OK | The tier clears the 5% margin floor. |
| Below floor | The tier still turns a profit but lands under 5% margin. |
| COGS unknown | No cost on file, so no margin can be computed for that tier. |
The Needs review filter narrows the table to exactly the rows carrying one of those flags, so the queue of prices to fix is one click away. Refresh recomputes every tier from the latest costs and prices, then reloads.
The status filter (Active / All / Delisted) matches the products table, so the two never disagree about which listings count as delisted.
Editing tier prices in bulk
Bulk edit price opens beside the table on Shopee shops. Download the template — one row per listing, pre-filled with its current tier prices — set exact prices in Excel, and upload it back. Each edited row replaces that listing's tiers and is recomputed immediately; rows you leave blank are skipped, and the result panel lists what was applied, skipped and rejected, with the Excel row number and reason for each failure.
What else lives under Pricing
Price Tiers and Tier Settings are two of five sibling routes in the Pricing section: Price Edit drafts and deploys real price changes, Campaigns handles Shopee's nomination and confirmation spreadsheets, and History keeps every price this shop pushed — including the ones the platform refused.
